Deutsche Vortex was founded on 1 April 1965 to bring a completely new pump principle with impressive benefits to the market – DHW circulation pumps with a spherical motor. Even in the company’s first year of existence, its pumps already had a power consumption of just over 20 watts and were equipped with a thermostat. In the early eighties, Vortex launched the world’s first pump with an integral timer. Many other models followed in its wake.
